We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager. As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of our fleet of vehicles and inventory of pool service equipment and supplies. Your expertise in logistics, inventory control, and maintenance will contribute to the seamless operations of our swimming pool service company.
Responsibilities:
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the company's fleet of vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, inspections, repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor and manage the inventory of pool service equipment, chemicals, parts, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Procurement:
- Coordinate the procurement of new equipment, parts, and supplies, ensuring timely availability for the service team.
Supplier Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for procurement.
Asset Tracking:
- Implement and maintain an efficient system for tracking and managing company assets, including vehicles and equipment.
Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and execute a proactive maintenance plan for vehicles and equipment to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on fleet and inventory performance, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
Budget Management:
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets related to fleet operations and inventory management.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to vehicle operations, maintenance, and inventory management.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Service, Repair, and Renovation teams to address their equipment and supply needs and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fleet management, inventory control, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using software and tools for record-keeping and reporting.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
