Reporting to the President & CEO, this position works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts. Requires knowledge of the business, its policies and procedures. Includes responsibility for executive office management as appropriate. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provides a wide range of complex office administration and support to the executive team.

2. Prepares communications, presentations, spreadsheets and contracts. 

3. Maintains expenditures, code expenses and prepares financial reports.

4. Reviews, assesses, routes, answers and monitors action items and correspondence. 

5. Manages calendars, arranges meetings, books appointments for President & CEO, schedules and directs work of contracted service providers.

6. Coordinates office events and conferences with the help of the Employee Engagement Committee.

7. Purchases and maintains inventory of office supplies. 

8. Creates and maintains filing systems for the office and executive team. 

9. Answers and routes phone calls, mail, and e-mail for the executive team.

10. Runs errands in support of the executive team and office.

11. Contributes to goal achievement by accomplishing related duties as required. 

12. Administers credentials and assists with onboarding of new employees

13. Assists with office layout planning and office/workstation moves, and with managing and maintaining office IT infrastructure. 

14. Attends weekly executive team meetings as needed.

15. Meets or exceeds goals for expected behaviors. Maintain a respectful, positive working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

16. Thrives in a high-paced, and at times, demanding environment.

17. Maintains reliable attendance according to schedule and policy.

18. Coordinates and attends community outreach events (i.e. Harvest Fest, QC Marathon Kickoff, etc).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. with office hours of operation Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

TRAVEL

Less than 5% travel is expected for this position. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree.

Experience in transportation or logistics industry.

Pay Transparency:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all locations. The salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. The salary range for this position is $60,000--$90,000 per year. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. These and other criteria allowed by law are in place as the best non-discriminatory predictors of successful job performance. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, visions and dental insurance, and retirement.
