About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Total Loss Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for managing total loss claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with insurance companies, clients, and internal teams to process claims, assess damages, and negotiate settlements.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Handle total loss claims from initiation to resolution, including documentation, evaluation, and settlement negotiation
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the extent of damages and liability
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status
  • Review policy coverage and interpret insurance contracts to determine claim validity
  • Evaluate repair estimates and vehicle valuations to ensure accuracy and fairness
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and salvage vendors to maximize recovery and minimize loss
  • Maintain detailed records of claim activities, correspondence, and settlements
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • File GAP in a timely manner with the correct GAP provider
  • Conduct phone and email conversations with ancillary product servicers to facilitate proper processing
  • Partner with internal titles team to provide title processing timelines to insurance carriers
  • Processing intake of insurance notices via phone and email communication and making applicable updates within internal systems

What we look for:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in insurance claims management, total loss evaluation, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess damages and negotiate settlements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
