A Wedgewood Weddings Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while observing all health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will take pride in both behind-the-scenes repairs and the event-ready presentation of our properties.

This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes, as well as ensuring the property is ready to host flawless events.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas of the facility and grounds are maintained in good working order and ready for events

  • Assist in event setup: set up ceremony chairs, keep grounds tidy, and power wash walkways

  • Start the day with property readiness tasks, such as blowing leaves and preparing outdoor spaces

  • Clean and maintain bar and kitchen mats for safety and presentation

  • Empty, clean, refill, and add chemicals to property hot tubs

  • Ensure trash is removed from facilities and grounds

  • Perform major and minor repairs around the facility under direction of the General Manager

  • Assemble furniture or equipment as needed

  • General knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, framing, drywall, electrical, painting, refrigeration, and landscaping

  • Ensure the safety of guests and employees

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager, Regional Manager, or Director of Facilities

  • Understand and adhere to environmental standards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance or construction preferred

  • Experience in one or more trades such as drywall repair, painting, carpentry, tile, masonry, plumbing, or electrical

  • Attention to detail and quality-driven mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and completing them effectively and accurately

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. regularly and work in a standing position for long periods of time

  • Dependable, energetic, and comfortable with hands-on, physical work

  • Previous grounds or event prep experience a plus, but not required

Qualifications

  • Availability to respond to occasional emergencies, including weekends

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

  • Flexibility to support both event setup tasks and technical maintenance work

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Be part of a team that helps create once-in-a-lifetime celebrations

  • Enjoy a scenic, outdoor environment — not just an office job!

  • Flexible morning schedule, with afternoons often free depending on workload

  • Every day brings variety—you won’t be stuck doing the same thing on repeat

If you think you are a qualified candidate, please apply ASAP. We will review your submission promptly. Thank you!
