First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group Inc. (TSAG) is a not-for-profit provider of quality technical service and training for First Nations in Alberta. TSAG’s purpose is to assist First Nations in gaining the tools and knowledge they need to achieve and maintain high standards in technology and services within the community. This is a permanent, full time position and will be located in Edmonton, Alberta.
Job Description
As a Project Coordinator with the Community Health Network at TSAG, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with the right resources, while serving as the central link between stakeholders, funding partners, First Nations communities, consultants, and TSAG team members.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives on collaboration, and brings experience in project oversight and administration. You excel at building relationships, bridging communication between program staff and stakeholders, and ensuring project scope, requirements, and deliverables are successfully achieved. Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to develop project manuals and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
- Coordinate internal projects and foster collaboration between TSAG, funding organizations, and stakeholders.
- Provide project support to internal staff, incorporating clear documentation and communication into internal processes.
- Deliver regular and timely project updates to stakeholders.
- Develop funding work plans and provide year-end reporting to meet funding requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and support implementation.
- Liaise with First Nations communities, FNIHB, TSAG, and partner organizations to clarify and communicate project scope, requirements, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completion of a two-year post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, information technology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong project management and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders at once.
- Experience with budgets, funding agreements, and financial tracking.
