Associate Veterinarian - New Brunswick
Fredericton Veterinary Urgent Care & Walk-in is a part of the Galaxy Vets family, a new employee-owned veterinary healthcare system with a mission to give Veterinary Medicine back to Veterinary Professionals.
Our urgent care model provides an engaging caseload, focusing on Urgent Care and Emergency cases.

The Candidate
● Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
● Licensure in good standing to practice in the province of New Brunswick
● Interest in learning more about Business Acumen and Ownership
The Position
What you’ll need to be successful:
● Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for each individual patient
● Review and analyze lab results and diagnostic records
● Perform surgical intervention as needed
● Transition patients to overnight care as needed and communicate effectively with referral hospitals in order to ensure continuity of patient care
● Document patient medical and surgical records with detail
● Develop a rapport with clients, understand their desires, clearly communicate plans and findings
