You’ll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders in the Retail, Brand & Marketing business unit to develop and implement communications plans that support strategic initiatives and drive engagement.Together with the Senior Communications Manager, you will provide strategic communications advice, craft compelling written and visual content for internal audiences, and contribute to the development of key messaging for both internal and external initiatives. Your work will help shape a consistent and engaging narrative that drives alignment, awareness, and impact across the organisation.This is a unique opportunity to shape communications that support a diverse, nationwide frontline team, as Australia Post transforms its retail network to meet evolving customer needs in a rapidly changing digital and eCommerce landscape.This is a 12-month fixed term opportunityWhat you’ll deliver with us Help deliver on the Communications strategy and think about strategic initiatives that will improve communication for our team membersBuild trusted relationships with executive and senior level leaders across the business, prepare briefs, messaging and presentations as neededWork with Business Unit teams to develop a deep understanding of the particular interests, agendas, issues and opportunities to work collaboratively with Retail, Brand & MarketingSupport key projects and initiatives by developing, implementing and advising on communications approaches to enhance team member and stakeholder engagementWork with Executive Managers and Executive Assistants to help deliver key events (e.g. Town Halls)Collaborate with the wider Communications team to ensure consistency of business messages and alignment with enterprise-wide programsAbout YouYou’re a seasoned communications professional with over six years’ experience in large, complex, and highly regulated organisations. You bring a strategic mindset and a proven ability to develop, execute, and evaluate impactful communication plans across diverse channels, including digital. Highly organised and efficient, you thrive in dynamic environments and have strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills. Your natural curiosity keeps you attuned to current affairs and community issues, and you understand the reputational impact of effective communication.
