We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting financial solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO). The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial processes, strong consulting experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
This role is best suited for a highly motivated professional with 8–14 years of functional consulting experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver value-driven financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of financial modules in D365 Finance and Operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash & Bank, Financial Close, Reconciliations, Cost Accounting, and Asset Management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into scalable D365 FO solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Consulting & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary functional consultant for finance-related modules, providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, developers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations, present solutions, and provide regular project updates.
- Support & Incident Management
- Perform root-cause analysis for system issues, troubleshoot problems, and manage incident resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Ensure continuous system availability and performance by proactively identifying and addressing risks.
- Provide post-implementation support, end-user training, and knowledge transfer to ensure effective adoption of D365 FO.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain detailed functional documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.
- Prepare and present KPI reports on system performance, finance process efficiency, and issue resolution metrics.
- Ensure compliance with corporate documentation and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 8–14 years as a Functional Consultant, with at least 5+ years specifically in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Finance modules).
- Expertise in Financial Modules: Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash & Bank Management, Financial Close, Reconciliation, Cost Accounting, and Asset Management.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, enabling alignment of system solutions with financial best practices.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability in root-cause analysis, incident management, and resolution of complex system issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to manage relationships, influence decision-making, and deliver high-quality solutions in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting: Excellent skills in preparing functional documentation, training materials, and KPI reporting.
- Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification preferred.
