Technical Project Engineer
ESP-Mataró (Barcelona)
As a Technical Project Manager, within the Engineering Department and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the technical execution of capital investment and process improvement projects. You will define and drive the project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. You will also lead cross-functional technical teams, manage installation and start-up phases, and introduce new technologies to support innovation. By providing technical leadership and process expertise, you will play a key role in ensuring efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, schedule (CPS), and budget, ensuring delivery within objectives and capital forecast.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams and act as the main technical interface with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Drive the execution of all project phases (EWP), from feasibility studies to installation and start-up.
- Research and introduce new technologies to support breakthrough projects.

Qualifications:
- University Engineering degree or equivalent higher education certification.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects, ideaaly within a regulated environment (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food industry).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Impressive communication and problem-solving aptitude.
- Analytical and strategic working skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Experience with coating and converting processes is highly valued but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is equally important.
- A proactive mindset and passion for driving quality and innovation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
