Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team within a global digital marketing and technology group. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse range of projects in advertising, marketing, commerce, social media, influencer, fan engagement, market research and training / educational services for a portfolio of international clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating client and supplier agreements
  • Support compliance across GDPR, ASA regulations and general legal obligations
  • Advise on client and supplier relationships, including support in the event of contractual or partnership disputes
  • Provide support with trademark portfolio management, including coordination of filings, renewals and liaising with external counsel where required
  • Assist with audits and assessments of AI technologies in use across the business, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
  • Contribute to corporate governance processes and documentation
  • Assist on company secretarial matters, including maintaining statutory registers and filings with Companies House
  • Assist in the delivery of stakeholder training and internal reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, finance and operational teams


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial legal role
  • An understanding of contract process, compliance, corporate governance and company documentation
  • In-house legal experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Exposure to advertising, marketing, commerce, social media, influencer, fan engagement, market research and / or training/educational services is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and initiative  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
