Lead on compliance, regulation, and risk – safeguard funding and shape the future of housing delivery
Do you have a sharp eye for compliance and regulation, with the confidence to influence decision-making at the highest level? Are you skilled at turning complex data into clear insights and embedding best practice across teams? If so, this could be your next opportunity.

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to lead on compliance within our Commercial Directorate. You’ll make sure we meet all regulatory and policy obligations, protect vital funding, and support the delivery of thousands of new homes across London and the South East. From managing contractor framework to guiding Board-level decisions with data and insight, this is a role with real impact.

About us:
At A2Dominion, we’re more than a housing provider. We’re a not-for-profit organisation with a clear social purpose: to create homes and communities people love to live in. With over 38,000 homes across London and the South East, we reinvest our profits into building more affordable homes and delivering services that make a real difference. We’re a G15 housing association with a strong social purpose.

Key responsibilities
* Lead compliance initiatives across the Commercial Directorate, ensuring regulatory and funding requirements are met.
* Manage risk strategies, audits, and reporting to protect funding and maintain strong credit ratings.
* Oversee contractor and consultant frameworks, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and performance standards.
* Review and interpret government policy, legislation, and regulatory updates, advising stakeholders and supporting Board decisions.
* Lead on competitive tendering, funding bids, and rent-setting, ensuring schemes are viable and compliant.
* Build strong relationships with auditors, local authorities, and government bodies to influence planning and protect organisational integrity.

About you
* Degree-level qualification (law, finance, business administration or related field) or significant experience in compliance, regulation, or risk management.
* Strong knowledge of funding bodies, regulatory frameworks, and compliance legislation.
* Experience of managing audits, producing viability appraisals, and setting rents in line with policy.
* Knowledge of OJEU/FTS procurement regulations and competitive tendering.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills.
* Skilled communicator, able to present complex information clearly and influence stakeholders.
* Resilient, future-focused, and performance-driven, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
