POSITION SUMMARY:

ALandscape Architect designs, plans, and oversees landscaping and outdoor spacesto ensure functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with airport operations,FAA requirements, and environmental regulations. Key responsibilitiesinclude analyzing sites, developing master plans and design documents,selecting plant materials, collaborating with engineers and consultants, andinspecting construction to meet project specifications and established standards. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’sor master’s degree in landscape architecture or related field; and Minimum ofseven (7) years of experience in a large-scale operations organization toinclude supervisory responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education,training, and experience. Experience in an airport, other public sector, orlargescale hospitality and tourism environment preferred
  • Experience with sustainable design and native planting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of job costing and cost accounting.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple and diverse activities and projects.
  • Able to interpret detailed information and provide analysis to senior management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D modelling software is desired.
  • Registered Landscape Architect License
  • Valid Florida driver’slicense
