What you'll be doing:


The Business Application Support Coordinator will serve as the primary link between operational teams and the user-facing application support group for the organisation’s core ERP platform, Oracle NetSuite.


This role is pivotal in ensuring operational users receive the support, training, coaching, and guidance they need for everyday application use, while also maintaining compliance with business processes. In addition, the role contributes to new change initiatives and application enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency.


You will serve as both a Superuser and a Business Tester, supporting new changes, feature deployments, and functionality validation within the application.


Day to day you'll be involved in:


  • Acting as a first-line resource for technical and process questions, providing 1st level training and feedback on application changes, and serving as a bridge between users and the IT function.
  • Assisting functional users with application navigation and issue resolution, identifying and documenting user requirements and change requests, user-acceptance and end-to-end testing of new functionalities and feature set, and helping to accelerate process adoption within the business. 
  • Delivering and reinforcing end-user training, ensuring staff can effectively use the application in the way it has been designed and in alignment with the processes that support the execution of their roles and responsibilities. 
  • Maintaining the local Support Case register, liaising with business colleagues to triage, troubleshooting and where necessary escalate application issues, providing regular update on issue resolution status.
  • Assisting users with basic NetSuite issues and queries, providing first- & second-line support and escalating more complex problems to the NetSuite support team.
  • Helping manage user roles, permissions, and profiles to ensure appropriate access across departments.
  • Monitoring system usage and performance, reporting any issues to the NetSuite support team.
  • Assisting in designing new functional requirements, reports, searches and dashboards
  • Helping document and maintaining up-to-date user guides, system procedures, process flows.
  • Providing business Test support for routine system updates and patch installations.
  • Assisting with training end-users on core system functionalities and promote best usage practices.
  • Participating in business improvement workshops and identify improvement opportunities in both the system and operational processes.
  • Working closely with the operational business and finance teams to ensure system processes are functioning properly and are accurately reflected in the management accounts.
  • Providing data entry support when necessary and ensure data integrity within the system.
  • Collaborating with external NetSuite support teams to resolve outstanding technical issues.


What experience you'll bring:


    • Experience in an internal operations support role, utilising NetSuite and a similar ERP day-to-day.
    • Good ability to learn and understand end-to-end operational processes, with a sound understanding of the context in which these processes are serviced within an ERP environment.
    • Experience in a super user/system champion type role (desirable but not essential)
    • A quick learner, highly organized, and a passion for IT and business operations.
