We are looking for a Manager, Admissions & Census, to work with our Revenue Cycle department.

 

This is a remote position and applicants can reside any where within the Continental USA.

Must be able to support the business hours in the Mountain Time Zone

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours may vary with business needs

Responsibilities

Admissions Manager

 

  • Manages and works with staff that ensures up front completion of necessary information from entry sheet and medication orders for data entry and account setup in AS400 system. Review and route documents through DocuTrak system to appropriate department.
  • Works with staff to verify payers and demographic information. Where applicable, fill in gaps in demographic information.
  • Handles difficult and/or complex accounts by providing direction, suggestions, and resolution to Admissions staff and responsible parties.
  • Participates in training of Admissions staff, by sharing content knowledge and job shadowing.
  • Works with staff and responsible parties, receiving in/out bound telephone calls, and providing customer service where possible.
  • Manages staff and works with internal and external customers to resolve assigned portfolio of accounts. Staff and supervisor productivity records will be maintained.
  • Manages, reviews, creates policies and procedures including IT initiatives towards automation of data.
  • Works with Director in managing Admissions team operating and wage and related expenses to budget.
  • Works with Director of Admissions in managing associates to the level of performance expected by PharMerica.
  • Works with Directors in researching pharmacy accounts requiring special attention, as indicated on variance reports and taking all necessary action to ensure accuracy of data being entered.
  • Works with Directors and other members of the management team on special projects as needed.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Additional Job Information

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent experience of 5-7 years required
  • Minimum 5-7 years billing experience and/or collections experience; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Team leadership skills; Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in third party billing or collections environment, must be capable and willing to train and/or mentor others, required
  • AS400 computer experience is preferred
  • 10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledge, Supervisory Skills are required
  • Medical billing and coding experience is preferred
  • Communication, Problem Solving, Detail Orientation and Teamwork skills are required

Salary Range

USD $83,000.00 - $95,000.00 / Year
