Job Summary
Be the face of Tetra Pak. Deliver excellence where it matters most.
As a Service Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in delivering high-quality service to our customers. From troubleshooting technical issues to supporting our maintenance contract performance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our equipment and our customer relationships, run smoothly.
As a part of our Customer Service Operations team, you will be first in the field to maintain food processing and packaging equipment at our customers’ facilities. As someone who prides themselves on getting to the root of the problem, you’ll be part of the mission to keep food production going for hundreds of millions of people in more than 160 countries. Our equipment is a crucial part of the food processing and packaging industry. That’s why keeping it maintained to its optimum performance is a huge priority, not only for us but for our customers and the communities they serve. What you will do
- Travel to customer sites: UK and Ireland (occasionally overseas)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations
- Analyze technical issues and escalate when needed using standard operating processes
- Train customer operators (if required)
- Support production plant efficiency
- Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development and growth
- Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
- To write a site visit report on completion of the work
We believe you have
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles
- Education in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering
- Good computer literacy
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical and/or automation knowledge
- Ability to travel as required and this can be at short notice
- Strong level of English (written and verbal)
- A proactive, customer-first mindset
