Job Summary

The President serves as the chief executive of a dynamic investment advisory firm specializing in qualified retirement plans and individual wealth management. This role encompasses strategic leadership, operational oversight, and direct accountability for all facets of the business, including marketing, sales, investment strategy, client service, and team management. The President drives growth, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters a high-performance culture aligned with the firm’s mission and values. 


Job Responsibilities

  

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and execute the firm’s strategic vision across retirement plan consulting and wealth management services.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including new client acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Oversee brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and public relations to enhance visibility and reputation.

Investment Management & Advisory Oversight

  • Lead the development and implementation of investment strategies tailored to retirement plans and individual client portfolios.
  • Ensure investment processes align with fiduciary standards, regulatory requirements, and client objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to guide portfolio adjustments and risk management.

Client Experience & Reporting

  • Maintain high standards of client service, ensuring timely and transparent reporting across all accounts.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of performance reports, plan reviews, and financial planning documents.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to key clients, providing strategic guidance and personalized financial solutions.

Sales & Marketing

  • Direct sales strategy and pipeline development for both institutional and individual clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns, thought leadership content, and educational materials.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Supervise and mentor cross-functional teams including advisors, analysts, operations, and support staff.
  • Establish performance metrics, conduct evaluations, and promote professional development.
  • Oversee compliance, technology infrastructure, and operational efficiency across the organization
Requirements
  • Proven executive leadership in financial services, preferably within investment advisory or wealth management.
  • Deep understanding of ERISA, fiduciary standards, and retirement plan consulting.
  • Strong grasp of investment theory, portfolio construction, and financial planning principles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CFP) preferred.
  • Visionary thinker with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.

Remote Work Information

Compensation Information

The average salary for this position is expected to be between $154,000 and $200,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
