- Accountable for the delivery of the completions process ensuring all project objectives and goals are supported and delivered in a safe and structured manner in line with the project schedule and in accordance with applicable project procedures.
- Plays an active role in ensuring that all Project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- To drive completion of systems to handover, in line with the project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over fully certified in a timely and orderly manner.
- To maintain and deliver the completions/certification process within budget and where applicable identify and implement cost saving initiatives in safe delivery of the project completions goals
Responsibilities
- Ensuring mechanical completion data, documentation, drawings and handovers are in accordance with agreed project procedures and schedules and to the required standard
- Development, issue and updating of all applicable completions procedures/working practices required for the delivery of the completions process
- Co-ordination of the completions management database, ensuring data integrity is maintained to the highest standard and quality
- Ensure all applicable site/project safety procedures are fully and properly implemented throughout the completions phase. Liaise with the project Safety Representative to ensure that all staff have been trained in their use
- Liaison with Construction and Commissioning Teams in the development of project handover strategy and sequence
- Liaising with Commissioning personnel to identify and deliver early pre-commissioning/commissioning gains
- Liaise with client representatives to ensure where applicable / required completions data/services are supplied
- Interface with Project Management and Client Representatives on all matters applicable to completions, providing accurate reporting on status including identification of issues or concerns, which may impact project delivery
- Completion of regular audits/reviews ensuring compliance with project procedures and standards
- Definition and mark up of sub-system limits on P&ID / SLD's etc
- Management of data downloads from Engineering into Completions Management Database
- Management of change control associated with the completions process"
- Organize Completions office and IT requirements in conjunction with IT and Site Facilities Groups.
- Attending TRM sessions to provide completions expertise into the process
- Provide input in budget management and cost control
- Provide input into planning process ensuring the completions function is correctly represented within the integrated project plan.
- Provide support to the project audit process
- Ensures operations & maintenance requirements are identified and requirements are tracked for start-up
- Complies with completions and/or certification procedures.
- Expedites and assures the full mechanical completion of a system by construction prior to arranging handover activities to commissioning
- Records and monitors the close out of defects or deficiencies within project scope
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- Should possess Level 4 ISCED qualification in a relevant technical discipline
- Should possess Level 4 ISCED qualification in a relevant technical discipline
- Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
- Strong IT skills are necessary to support the data manipulation and data import process. Skills include Excel formulae, pivot tables, filtering and sorting
- Ability to demonstrate high level of understanding of HSE processes and procedures and their implementation
- Ability to work and deliver project milestones in a consistent and structured manner
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members
- Ability to follow / comply with procedures and recognized working practices
- Ability to carry out systemization of projects
