About the Role:
The combo Welder for the Beaumont TX area plays a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to effectively join various types of metals. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds that align with project specifications. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment are essential for success in this role. Ultimately, the Combo Welder contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production process, delivering high-quality products that meet client expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding from an accredited program.
- Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional welding techniques such as flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques on various metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
