Start your career in public service. The HOURLY Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 will provide a broad range of paraprofessional social services to internal and external clients. Conducts data entry tasks, manages spreadsheets and assists county and regional staff with various supportive needs. This position is located in Athens, Clarke County, GA.

Position Duties
This position does not offer benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Access and records client and community resource information.
- Assists in collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and prepares necessary reports according to rules and regulations, state and federal laws.
- Assists in identifying placement resources for children within the foster care system.
- Conducts home-visit evaluations for information gathering to be used in assessments.
- Maintains required documentation and completes reports.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to routinely serve on after-hours or on-call duty
