Job Title: AV Program Manager

Department: Operations – PMO 

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Ashburn, VA with flexibility for telework (must live within driving distance)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Weekends as required

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt

Clearance: Secret


Position Summary

The AV (Audio Visual) Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide AV initiatives. This role will oversee AV project lifecycles, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful integration of AV technologies that support our client’s organizational goals. The AV Program Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact between sales, technical teams, vendors, and RavenTek business stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Site surveys, pre & post sales design engineering services. 
  • Test multi-class AV solutions for the DoD and Civilian customers.
  • Document and negotiating system requirements with vendors. 
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Develop project-level AV Bill of materials (BOM). 
  • Act as the liaison between technical & sales teams and executive leadership.
  • Create internal standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide AV system training and user guides to onsite personnel. 
  • Travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Technical coordination and leadership of onsite sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
  • Ensure programming meets system requirements and capabilities.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period. 
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Proficient in control system design (Crestron/Extron).
  • Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages for AV Systems. 
  • Proficient in system design using AutoCAD and Visio is desired.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and handle multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with a customer focus.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 15 years additional relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Crestron or Extron control system experience.
  • Hands-on experience with control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup, and calibration.

Certifications, Licenses

  • CTS certification required.
  • CTS-I and D certifications desired.
  • Extron or Crestron certifications desired.

Special Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret clearance. 

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.


Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. The ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb will be required for this position. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 40 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
