We currently have an exceptional career opportunity at our Medically Enhanced Recovery House for a Full Time 40 hours per week Recovery Technician to join our team in New London, CT. Located at our Shoreline House of Hope on 38 Coit Street, New London CT Recovery Program. This program is a low Intensity, Residential Treatment facility! This innovative model combines the safety of individuals who have medical needs that require on-site nursing support with the supportive environment of recovery housing, representing a bold new step in our strategic vision to expand integrated care and recovery supports, and expand our continuum. All Shifts with compensation and shift premium:
- 1st shift 8:00am - 4:00pm $18.00/hour
- 2nd shift 4:00pm - 12:00am $18.50/hour
- 3rd shift 12:00am - 8:00am $19.00/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Orient clients to the facility and review program rules and regulations.
- Complete all non-clinical/non-medical admission paperwork and documentation.
- Screen incoming client property.
- Observe medication self-administration.
- Investigate suspicious or unusual behavior to ensure the safety of clients and premises.
- Provide the clients with clean linens, towels, and personal supplies.
- Check and clean laundry and client areas.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls as needed.
- Monitor the security of the department regularly.
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License required, ability to drive company owned vehicle.
- Knowledge of substance use disorder preferred.
- CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Bilingualism is a Plus!
