Join KENT Worldwide™ as a Data Analytics Engineer and help shape the future of data-driven decision-making in our organization. In this dynamic role, you’ll transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic initiatives across the business. Working within a federated analytics architecture, you’ll collaborate with domain experts, stakeholders, and analytics team members to deliver impactful analytical products. Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, building ETL processes for data lakehouse/warehouse environments, and designing scalable data models, all while following best practices and driving innovation in how we use data.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business domain owners and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Transform raw data into clean, structured data using ETL/ELT processes and medallion architecture.
- Design and build scalable, reusable data models that support reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure data models follow established best practices for performance, maintainability, and usability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytical products.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for data models, pipelines, and business logic.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for reliability and performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and engineering.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Data Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and data analytics skills and experience considered.
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering required.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data lakehouses/warehouses, dataflows, and Spark/PySpark notebooks.
- Proficiency with SQL and scripting languages like Python.
- Proficiency with DAX and Power BI semantic models.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing processes a plus.
- Experience with AX2012 or D365 F&O a plus.
TRAVEL EXPECTED:
- Requires the ability and willingness to travel as needed to various KENT locations.
