About this Opportunity

 

The HR Global Compensation intern will be joining a fast paced and fulfilling environment, with opportunities to grow through rewarding and challenging work. The intern will work with the HR and Compensation teams to add meaningful value through the development of key business and HR strategies. The intern will learn and develop meaningful skills such as:  

  • Benefits Administration 

  • Compensation Benchmarking 

  • HR and Compensation Related Research

  • Recruitment 

  • Onboarding 

  • Job Evaluation

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong interest in human resources

  • Significant skill using Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with databases and overall data management

  • Must be self-motivated, take initiative and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must possess the ability to demonstrate grace under pressure

  • High level of energy for a fast-paced working environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-starting mentality, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Activities: 

  • Participating in annual compensation surveys and assist with compiling and analyzing results in preparation of compensation benchmarking

  • Providing support for employee variable pay program quarterly reporting processes

  • Assisting with job evaluations for new and modified roles as needed

  • Running reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support compensation analysis, financial and headcount reports etc.

  • Assisting with various administration requirements for ongoing deliverables, projects and initiatives, helping to organize meeting materials as needed

  • Performing invoice processing and manual file transfers to vendors when required

  • Preparing & maintaining documentation of various processes / procedures

 

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
