Could you be the full-time onsite Communications Manager, East Coast, US in New York, NY, US we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic communications expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing Alstom’s brand visibility and reputation in the United States. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as sales, leadership, and global communications), develop tailored messaging for diverse audiences, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Deploying and adapting the US communications plan to the regional level, ensuring alignment with national and Americas-wide messaging. ,

  • Building and maintaining strong media relationships and serving as the main contact for local journalists. ,

  • Creating engaging content for various channels, including social media, articles, and presentations. ,

  • Organizing events, site visits, and exhibitions to strengthen stakeholder engagement. ,

  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s brand guidelines in all communications materials. ,

  • Managing internal communications and fostering employee engagement. ,

  • Overseeing the regional communications budget and tracking performance metrics. ,

  • Supporting crisis communications and issues management as needed. ,

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align communications with business objectives. ,

  • Monitoring and analyzing communications performance to identify opportunities for improvement.


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. ,

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications with strong media relations skills. ,

  • Track record in content creation, editorial planning, and social media management. ,

  • Experience in crisis communications and issues management. ,

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. ,

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. ,

  • Creative storytelling and visual communication instincts. ,

  • Familiarity with integrated communication strategies and stakeholder engagement. ,

  • Knowledge of event planning and execution, including site visits and exhibitions. ,

  • Ability to adapt and align regional communications with national and global messaging.
