Inventory Cycle Counter bei The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company

The role

We are looking for someone to manage the inventory accuracy and availability of packaging materials in our new site in Torijo. This role is pivotal to the warehouse as the availability of materials will make sure that the site is managing its workload effectively and developing long term customer satisfaction.

You will be working with the management team to develop the strategy for regular cycle counting to make sure that any discrepancies are noted and materials are readily available for the team. You will make sure that your strategy will include having just the right amount of material to prevent any shortage but also not to have an over abundance which could lead to wastage.

You will work with the warehouse planning team to understand the flow of work and order material accordingly, you will also work with the procurement team to make them aware of any major changes needed so that they can plan accordingly.

You will always look at the process and be thinking about how to continuously improve the workflow and identify, investigate and resolve any stock variances. You will also be in charge of paperwork that relates to cycle counts and adjustments.

So, who are we looking for?

Key skills and experience include:

• Experience of working in an automotive or logistics environment
• The ability to deal with a variety of people and stakeholders
• Good attention to detail and can perform repetitive duties
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of AOS or SAP
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
