Key Responsibilities

Siro is seeking an entrepreneurial and product-minded GM to lead our New Verticals expansion initiative, finding product-market fit in new segments and building scalable go-to-market operations.

This senior role will build and execute a repeatable playbook to identify, qualify, and enter new market verticals. Working closely with BDRs and AEs, you'll drive Siro's growth beyond our established markets into promising new territories.

The ideal candidate combines strong product intuition with operational rigor, thrives on data-driven decision making, and can orchestrate complex cross-functional initiatives.

Strategic market development

  • Develop a comprehensive vertical expansion framework including market mapping, prioritization criteria, and go/no-go decision frameworks

  • Analyze potential verticals evaluating TAM, target accounts (mid-market and enterprise), competitive landscapes, tech stacks, and product-market fit

  • Create repeatable playbooks for vertical entry that can scale across the organization

Business development and market entry

  • Lead market development through outbound outreach, strategic partnerships, and network-building. Leverage the BD, Sales, and Partnership teams to build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within priority verticals

  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand workflows, pain points, and current technology stacks

  • Design and execute pilots with prospects that demonstrate clear ROI

Cross-functional leadership

  • Lead and coordinate efforts between Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams

  • Oversee pilot execution, ensuring operational readiness and product configuration

  • Define resource requirements and operational capacity needed for vertical scaling

  • Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to track vertical performance

Execution and performance tracking

  • Analyze pilot results and operational metrics to assess vertical viability

  • Build business cases and present data-driven recommendations and updates to executive leadership

  • Own go/no-go decisions based on product fit, operational complexity, market opportunity, and other established criteria

  • Ensure smooth handoff of validated verticals to core GTM and operations teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product, strategic business development, new market expansion, or general management within B2B SaaS

  • Strong product sense with ability to translate customer needs into product requirements

  • Deep analytical skills with experience in market sizing, unit economics, and operational modeling

  • Proven track record of launching new products or operational initiatives from 0-to-1

  • Experience working with sales teams to validate product-market fit through pilots and POCs

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority
