Department Overview

The Administration Department is responsible for these key activities: representation of administration on the St. Paul and Minneapolis Campuses, policy and procedure clearinghouse, business development, child advocacy and child policy, and community health and preventive medicine.


Position Summary

The Executive Administrative Staff Supervisor is a key role responsible for overseeing the Executive Administrative Support Team and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality administrative services across the Executive Offices. This position manages day-to-day operations, drives process standardization, and fosters team development, while also providing direct support to a senior leader. With a focus on strategic alignment and operational excellence, the Supervisor plays a critical role in optimizing administrative workflows and contributing to the success of organizational initiatives.

Education:
*High school degree or GED required
*1-2 yrs post-secondary education preferred

Experience:
*5 years of Executive Administrative Experience required
*Supervisory experience strongly preferred
*Experience in healthcare/hospital setting preferred
*Computer experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Business Suite

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Strong oral and written interpersonal and communication skills, including leadership skills.
*Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to the unexpected.
*Self-starter, efficient, proactive, and works well with a team.
*Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
*Ability to optimize the time of executives, manage the complexity of their schedules, and requests for their time.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
*Ability to travel to off-site locations as needed.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
