Overview:

 

Crossgates Dental is now hiring a Full Time Dental Office Administrator in Slidell, LA!

 

We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.

 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 1:00pm, 2:00 pm - 5:00pm; Every other Friday 8:00 am - 12 noon

Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative duties
  • Accounting for patients and making sure that relations are maintained
  • Organizing , sending and following up with claims  
  • Verify insurance a week in advance
  • Collect patient portions date of service
  • Answers incoming calls to include new patients and emergencies
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Requesting records
  • Patient follow ups
  • Can confidently review treatment plans and help patients to schedule the treatment they need
  • Manage unscheduled and treatment pending lists to ensure patient follow through to meet scheduling goals
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 2 or more years dental front office experience 
  • Dental Assistanting experience is a plus and would be willing to 
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
