The Software QA team ensures that quality standards are met and exceeded for software and software development.
QA II engineers are skilled professionals capable of independently handling QA efforts for projects. They can coordinate test execution, mentor QA I staff, and ensure coverage and quality in project deliverables.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, design, and execute test strategies for assigned projects.
- Lead QA efforts within a project, ensuring timely delivery of test results.
- Mentor QA I staff and provide peer reviews on test cases/defects.
- Manage defect triage sessions with developers and stakeholders.
- Provide input into improving QA processes, templates, and standards.
- Troubleshoot system issues in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level depending on project requirements
- Support IT CSS engineers and on-site Software Support Engineers.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years of QA experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (ISTQB preferred).
- Ability to run small QA teams within a project.
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Tosca, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with SQL and API testing is a plus.
