Overview:Verathon® is looking for a SIOP Demand and Supply Planner to become the newest member of our Operations team located in Bothell, WA. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and communicate a consensus forecast through a comprehensive SIOP process that aligns with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. This critical role involves collaboration across multiple departments, ensuring efficient planning and execution while supporting business goals and operational performance. Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and improve dynamic demand forecasts using statistical modeling, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs; monitor forecast accuracy and drive improvements.
- Translate demand plans into supply and capacity requirements; conduct scenario and “what-if” analysis to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead the monthly SIOP process, driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to balance demand and supply.
- Define and manage inventory policies, including safety stock, reorder points, and inventory targets, balancing service levels and working capital.
- Build and maintain master production schedules, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, manufacturing capacity, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify demand patterns, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Investigate, evaluate, and pilot 3rd-party demand forecasting platforms and planning tools to strengthen forecasting capabilities and enable digital transformation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to confirm capacity, resolve constraints, and support continuity of supply.
- Monitor and report key supply chain and SIOP performance metrics (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, schedule adherence) to leadership.
- Ensure ERP/MRP and advanced planning system data integrity, support system improvements and train team members on tools and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning, forecasting, and SIOP maturity to support growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
- 5+ years of SIOP, master scheduling, demand forecasting and supply planning experience.
- Experience planning electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical components preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of the SIOP process, demand planning, and forecasting.
- SME in ERP system logic. Epicor experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and present information to executives.
- Medical or regulated industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- APICS and ISM Certifications are preferred
Salary range - $109,000.00- $143,500.00 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
