Parent Possible equips parents with the tools and information to be their child’s most valuable teacher, trainer and mentor in life. We promote and oversee delivery of three proven parent engagement programs, providing access and support, ensuring efficacy and impact, advocating, and collaborating with partners across the state.
Parent Possible is seeking a Vroom Program Associate to support Vroom in Colorado. Vroom is a parent empowerment program that encourages parents to take advantage of everyday moments to engage with their children in brain building activities. Leveraging mobile and digital technology and trusted messengers, Vroom provides affirming, reinforcing messages about brain development, making brain building both easy and fun. States, cities and regions across the U.S. are developing and putting in place multi-sector networks of trusted messengers to introduce parents and caregivers to Vroom, and support their effective use of this tool.
Outreach
- Identify and recruit a wide array of organizations and businesses to promote Vroom statewide.
- Provide information, presentations, support, and trainings to interested organizations to help them learn about Vroom and consider how they might utilize Vroom.
- Support and train trusted messengers that can effectively increase parent and caregiver awareness and use of Vroom.
Partner Engagement
- Provide ongoing support to community organizations and local partners through email, phone calls, webinars, and site visits.
- Provide technical support to help interested organizations become a Community Partner and develop their Vroom implementation plan.
- Serve as liaison between Parent Possible and Community Partners.
- Maintain Salesforce and internal databases, keeping records updated with all relevant leads and partner information.
- Manage partner requests for Vroom materials, including fulfilling order requests online and shipping materials from our office space.
- Assist the Vroom team in organizing our office space so materials can be easily tracked and accessed.
Support
Minimum qualifications
- One year professional experience in one or more of these areas: early childhood, education, communications, project management, outreach, or community engagement
- Associate degree or work experience in lieu of education requirement
- Experience effectively communicating in a timely manner and in a variety of formats
- Experience in presentation and training delivery
- Experience supporting multi-faceted projects
- Passionate about the core work of Parent Possible and Vroom
Preferred qualifications
- Three years professional experience in one or more of these areas: early childhood, education, communications, project management, outreach, or community engagement
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in early childhood, education, or communications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Demonstrated success in effectively communicating in a timely manner and in a variety of formats
- Demonstrated success in public speaking and presentation and training delivery
- Demonstrated success in effectively managing multi-faceted projects
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining relationships with co-workers and a wide array of external stakeholders
- Passionate about the core work of Parent Possible and Vroom
Other Position Information
This is a temporary, 30 hour/week position, lasting through January 31st, 2026. Compensation for this position will be paid at an hourly rate of $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include sick leave in accordance with CO state law. This is a remote position with in-office days at our Denver office about once per week. All employees must live in Colorado, and some in-state travel may be required. All Parent Possible employees must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
