Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Work Control Planner in Richland, WA.
This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:Under general supervision:
- Analyze planning processes for efficiency and make recommendations to management.
- Prepare and/or verify accuracy of work orders and work activity schedules.
- Conduct planning meetings and provide planning status to project schedules.
- Prepare, track, and control work orders, required to accomplish assigned activities.
- Provide miscellaneous planning as required by manager.
- Review and analyze work documents for proper classification, priority, and description.
- Prepare work documents in accordance with work control processes and procedures.
- With input from field work supervision, estimate and establish man hours, material, and manpower needed for job completion.
- Support material requisition.
- Develop work orders for low and medium risk/complexity jobs.
- Assist in the development of complex work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and 2 years’ practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience.
- Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning is required.
- Maintenance or construction craft experience, or Field Work Supervision experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning at 222-S Laboratory or Category 3 Nuclear Facilities is desired.
Grade 14: $77,969 - $91,975
Grade 15: $80,225 - $101,175
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
