A hospitality and food service professional comes to work on time in the proper uniform, both clean and pressed, with all necessary tools needed to perform their job. This includes their unique talents, a welcoming disposition, necessary menu and restaurant knowledge, and a commitment to teamwork.
Dishwashers are the heart of our operations at PJ Clarke’s. They ensure the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Dishwashers are responsible for restocking the clean dishes. They may also be requested to take out garbage, breakdown deliveries, and assist in some janitorial tasks within the restaurant.
Dishwashers are responsible for preparing, maintaining, breaking down, and cleaning their work area according to their designated side work.
Requirements
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous work experience a plus
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high traffic workplace.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Serve Safe and/or safety, food prep certifications a plus
- Able to move at least 40 pounds
- Able to stand on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Great organizational skills
- Punctual and reliable attendance
