Join Our Team as a Trade Compliance Analyst!

We’re looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst to help shape and maintain our Trade Compliance program. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams- including buyers, engineers, logistics, and product managers- to ensure our import/export activities meet all regulatory requirements. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Be a key player in managing our Trade Compliance program, including export/import classifications, licensing, and sanctions screening. 
  • Provide expert guidance on trade compliance topics and help develop processes that support international business growth. 
  • Review and approve documentation for international shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance. 
  • Classify products correctly using Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs), Tariff Codes (HTS), Country of Origin information (COO), and Free Trade Agreement (FTA). 
  • Support global transactions and ensure adherence to U.S., Canadian, and international trade laws. 
  • Educate internal teams on trade compliance processes and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with our Customs Broker and service providers to streamline operations. 
  • Deliver insightful reporting on compliance activities and help shape our strategic direction. 

 

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in trade compliance or international logistics. 
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • CCS/CTCS credentials are a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge of North American import/export regulations and Incoterms.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills. 
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. 
  • High ethical standards and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
