Marketing Director - Retirement Community

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and implement the overall marketing vision and strategic plan to attract prospective residents and increase occupancy.
Manage and lead the marketing team, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
Establish and oversee digital marketing initiatives, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with external digital marketing agencies, creative partners, and community organizations.
Plan, coordinate, and execute innovative community events that engage residents, prospective residents, and the local community, creating organic exposure and positive brand awareness.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure marketing efforts align with community goals and resident needs.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in senior marketing roles, preferably within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality industries.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging community events and marketing campaigns.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
10+ years corporate marketing experience, or experience in an advertising or public relations agency or consulting firm.
Background in senior living or hospitality industries a plus.
