Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Experienced Craps Dealer to join our team at Saracen Casino Resort. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of craps gameplay, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Game Operation: Operate and oversee table games such as blackjack, poker, roulette, craps, baccarat, and other games, ensuring adherence to established rules and procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent guest service by engaging players, answering questions, and creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- Game Integrity: Maintain the integrity of the game by monitoring play, identifying irregularities, and enforcing casino rules and regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other dealers, supervisors, and casino staff to provide a smooth and efficient gaming experience.
- Chip Handling: Handle gaming chips and payouts accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper game flow.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, and all casino policies.
- Communication: Communicate clearly with players, supervisors, and other dealers to ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Resolution: Address and escalate disputes or guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance in line with the casino's dress code standards.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting with training, attending mandatory meetings, and learning new games.
- Availability: Due to the nature of casino business demand patterns, this position will regularly include early morning, evening, weekend shifts and holidays as assigned work schedules including training and/or meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
- Experience: 3 years as a craps dealer in a professional licensed casino environment is preferred.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of craps rules, payouts, odds, and all related side bets.
- Manual Dexterity: a high level of hand-eye coordination and the ability to use your hands skillfully to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small objects with precision, often involving repetitive movements and fine motor skills.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences while fostering repeat visits.

- Strong mathematical and mental calculation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Licensing: Must obtain and maintain a gaming license as required by the local gaming commission.
