About the Job
Kent is seeking a Systems Completions Lead to help oversee the Golden Pass LNG Commissioning Project in Port Arthur, TX. This role will work closely alongside our client and report to/work with the Site Support Manager.
Skills and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Supervise SCDB Administrator and Coordinator.
- Interface with discipline leads.
- Provide completion statistical input for daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Own the Systems Completions Database and manage content in conjunction with discipline leads.
- Provide management and revalidation SME for the project.
- Coordinate and supervise activities of the Commissioning Superintendents/Leads.
- Collaborate with the Start-up Manager to ensure safe and effective execution of Systems Completion activities and compliance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate and execute Systems Completion activities as required by the Systems Completion Plan.
- Ensure Commissioning team is fully conversant with the Systems Completion Model.
- Monitor static and dynamic commissioning activities and assist in resolving related issues to ensure quality.
- Ensure alignment with Project Engineering, Construction, Quality, Procurement, and Start-up/Operations.
- Act as subject matter expert/resource to the Project for Systems Completion activities.
- Lead development of Systems Completion strategies, execution plans, and procedures.
- Establish an Integrated Systems Completion Team organization by developing a resource plan and identifying staffing needs at key phases.
- Apply lessons learned from previous projects.
- Manage Systems Completion interfaces between PT and EPC Contractors to ensure successful commissioning and handover.
- Assist in the seamless transition of facilities from Project to Operations.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed, within the reasonable scope of the role, respecting workload and professional development.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience
Qualifications:
- College/University degree and/or technical diploma, or 15+ years of Project Completion and Operations experience.
- Proven management experience in Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, and Operations planning.
- In-depth knowledge of Project Completion standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
- Strong understanding of Project Execution, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning & Completion practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams with strong people skills.
- Strong understanding of work planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Exposure to client practices and processes for Systems Completion, Preservation, Commissioning, and Start-up operations.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English for effective communication with project management, contractors, and subcontractors.
Communication:
- Full fluency in English is required.

- Ability to work with the team to improve departmental work processes.
