At Gearsupply, we’re reshaping how the live event industry buys and sells professional gear. From massive line arrays to cutting-edge LED walls, we handle the equipment behind unforgettable shows. As a fast-growing startup, we value creativity, hustle, and resourcefulness—and we’re looking for a Warehouse Technician/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, organization, safety) with technical expertise (testing, validating, and troubleshooting AV gear). You’ll work directly with world-class equipment while also leading and mentoring warehouse staff, ensuring smooth workflows, quality, and efficiency every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and organization.
  • Operate and (ideally) train others on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot professional audio, video, lighting, and rigging gear to ensure functionality and resale quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff or contractors, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment, consistently enforcing safety best practices.
  • Assist with equipment preparation for customer pickups and shipments.
  • Create and maintain systems for cataloguing, labelling, and tracking gear efficiently.
  • Occasionally support early/late shipments outside of the standard 8am–5pm schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2–3+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
  • Equipment Handling: Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
  • AV Knowledge: Working understanding of professional gear including:
    • Line arrays, subwoofers, powered/unpowered speakers
    • Amplifiers, rack units, and mixing consoles
    • Lighting fixtures, controllers, and systems
    • LED panels, cameras, monitors, and video gear
    • Rigging equipment and hardware
  • Technical Ability: Skilled at testing, troubleshooting, and repairing common AV equipment issues.
  • Physical Capability: Able to move heavy gear safely using dollies or manual lifting.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to maintain accurate inventory systems.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to oversee workflows, set priorities, and guide warehouse staff.
  • Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a strong work ethic.
Competencies
  • Technical Proficiency: Confident diagnosing and repairing AV gear; ensures equipment meets resale standards.
  • Leadership & Oversight: Able to delegate tasks, train staff, and keep operations on track.
  • Organization & Tracking: Strong inventory skills, keeping the warehouse streamlined and efficient.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintains a hazard-free, regulation-compliant environment at all times.
  • Reliability & Flexibility: Dependable team player who adapts to shifting priorities and timelines.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: $55,000 – $65,000 base salary with multiple promotion paths and performance-based raises.
  • Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage with multiple plan options.
  • Generous Time Off: 15 days of PTO + 15–20 company-recognized holidays.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities to grow as the company expands.
