Unit Manager LPN or RN Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, Including RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s, to ensure the delivery of excellent resident care.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor resident health and well-being, and coordinate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure open communication.
Unit Manager LPN or RN Qualifications
- Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License for the state of Ohio. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of 2 year of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervision and management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility.
- Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process.
