Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside accounting team to manage the client portfolio
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and accounting operations specific to the client
- Partner with internal stakeholders across departments
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support as needed
- Serve as trusted financial advisor to senior management as it relates to the client
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Manage day to day accounting in a complex environment
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment previously
- 5+ years accounting experience with financial reporting expertise
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting capabilities
- Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
- A strategic mindset with the desire to roll up your sleeves as needed
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced and complex environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding relationship-building skills
