Job Summary:
The Program Support Specialist provides administrative support to the Operations department via performing recurring tasks and assisting the program management team with one-off support requests. The purpose of this role is to act as a flexible resource for the program management team so that surges in administrative workload can be efficiently addressed. This role requires basic industry knowledge and performs a variety of basic administrative functions, with a focus on data entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Runs reports and pulls data from our internal database
- Enters sample data and documentation into the client’s environmental database system for asbestos and lead-based paint projects, including test results and sample locations, and related inspection data
- Files electronic project records in alignment with project naming conventions
- Provides daily updates to the Criterion’s Program Management Team
- Coordinates with Criterion’s environmental testing laboratory regarding incoming sample submission during periods of high volume
- Assists with the preliminary stages of invoicing, with a focus on ensuring project data and work descriptions align with timesheets and daily reports
- Audits for missing abatement reports and other documentation needed by the client
- Ensures the Criterion Licenses folder on the program drive is current
- Creates control records for Project Managers as needed, often requiring a fast turnaround
- Performs others administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience effectively managing multiple concurrent timelines
- Demonstrated ability with the MS Office suite, with a focus on Excel and Word
- Demonstrated ability with Google Drive and Google Sheets
- Ability to perform detailed work and audit the work of others with attention to detail
- Experience interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a professional setting
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Basic environmental consulting industry knowledge, with a focus in asbestos and lead-based paint
Required Education, Certifications, and Licenses:
- Associate’s Degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- This position may require standing, sitting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
