You Are:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Sales Leader to drive growth in our government software solutions portfolio. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing commercial strategies, developing pricing models, and leading go-to-market efforts that align with the unique needs of defense and public sector organizations
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Own and drive the sales strategy for defense-related software solutions across federal, defense, and intelligence customers
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement commercial frameworks including pricing, bundling, and value-based selling tailored to defense procurement models
- Solution Development: Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to shape offerings that meet mission-critical needs in defense environments
- Marketing Alignment: Partner with AFS Works to craft targeted campaigns, messaging, and thought leadership that resonate with defense stakeholders
- Customer Engagement: Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers in defense agencies, including DoD, MoD, and other national security bodies
- Pipeline Management: Lead opportunity identification, qualification, and closure across complex sales cycles involving compliance, security, and procurement regulations
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and delivery commitments
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 3 years focused on defense or government clients
- Proven record of Defense client capability and solution sales success, particularly in mission-critical and custom software capabilities
- Deep understanding of the client acquisition process, including FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR, Other Transaction Authorities, etc
- Strong grasp of the client mission and strategy
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes, compliance standards, and defense contracting.
- Experience in pricing strategy, commercial modeling, and solution packaging
- Ability to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder environments
- Travel: 25%+ with both domestic and overseas travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, or mission-critical software platforms
- Familiarity with ITAR, FedRAMP, CMMC, and other defense-related compliance frameworks
- Existing relationships within defense agencies or integrators
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
