POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is responsible for the daily maintenance and general repairs of various CNC Machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Custodian duties
- Basic building maintenance - AC filters, light bulbs etc.
- CNC waste disposal.
- Qualified to operate a WellBoss forklift (certified).
- Basic troubleshooting of non-CNC mechanical equipment.
- Perform and log mixer ratio checks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge including hand and power tools.
- Cleaning of sensitive equipment.
- Assist with larger repairs i.e., remove machine guarding and covers.
- Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
- PMs on industrial equipment.
- Repairs on industrial equipment.
- Use appropriate strategies and solutions for dealing with conflicts and differences to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Use equipment and tools safely as designed/documented.
- Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 must at a minimum possess the following:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- One plus year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to comprehend production requirements.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively operate multiple machines at one time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Maintenance Technician Level 2 must be able to:
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
- Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).
- Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
