The Construction Director supports construction operations on all construction projects from pre-construction to owner closing. This includes providing oversight for the work of site supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, national service members, and volunteers ensuring well-built homes along with a safe and meaningful volunteer experience.

Required Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum nine year’s residential construction experience and minimum five year’s supervision experience with volunteer construction projects or seven year’s residential construction experience with a minimum of 5 years first-level construction supervision (lead carpenter, foreman, or equal).
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Personal auto insurance compliant with TCHFH Driver’s Policy.

- Planning and Prioritization: Plans, organizes, and adjusts work activities and resources while mitigating risks and issues.
- Safety Management: Develops and implements safety plans preventing accidents and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Volunteer Management: Builds relationships with volunteers and fosters a positive volunteer experience, throughout the process of recruiting, training, tracking, engaging, and retaining volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- College degree in Construction or Management field.
- Other supervisory experience preferred or relevant teaching experience.
