WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Create and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and artistry. Utilize extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and luxury ingredients to craft unique and visually appealing drinks.
- Promote positive guest relations and consistently prompt service and engage in conversations, recommend drinks based on guest preferences, and deliver a memorable experience that exceeds expectations.
- Engage in suggestive selling techniques to promote premium and specialty beverages, maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Assist in training new bartenders, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and knowledge.
- Take daily inventory and stock supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.
- Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlets.
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to obtain a Class III B Gaming License
- 1 (one) year of experience in bartending is required.
- Bartending School or equivalent training preferred.
- Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
- Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12.
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of premium spirits,wines, champagne, and other luxury beverages
- Knowledge of the BERG liquor dispensing system.
- Knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
- Skilled in basic math.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
- Ability to speak and read English, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the luxury hotel and its guests.
- Must be 21 years or older.
