The Distribution Center Repack / Reprice Lead is responsible for hands-on execution and oversight of repacking, labeling, and product preparation within the Meijer DC environment. This role leads a small team, ensuring that all operations meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. The Lead will coach, monitor, and support associates while maintaining accountability for throughput, cost control, and adherence to process.

·        Primarily indoor work in a temperature-controlled warehouse/distribution center environment.
·        Fast-paced setting with frequent deadlines and production demands.
·        May require occasional weekend work or extended shifts during peak business periods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all Meijer and Serv-U safety protocols and workplace policies at all times.
  • Repack, re-label, and prepare product units according to Meijer / Serv-U specifications.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, compliance to standards, and product quality.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, label stock, and ensure the team has necessary tools.
  • Use warehouse information systems, labor tracking tools, or order management software to monitor status, progress, and performance.

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, train, and mentor repack associates.
  • Assign daily work tasks and workloads. Monitor performance and provide feedback.
  • Identify training needs and guide professional development of team members.
  • Resolve conflicts, ensure adherence to procedures, and maintain team morale.
  •  Operations Management:
  • Collaborate with Project / Repack Manager to forecast workload, schedule headcount, and allocate labor.
  • Monitor actual labor vs. budget; take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Communicate status, issues, and progress to leadership.
  • Continuously seek process improvements, efficiencies, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Technical Operations
  • Maintain accurate records of production, errors, rejects, and labor hours.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports for leadership review.
  • Participate in audits or quality inspections as needed.


  • Desired Education, Skills & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (required) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years in warehouse, repack, or production operations.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers—Windows, spreadsheets, and warehouse systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
