Overview


We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist I to provide entry-level technical support to end users. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who has foundational experience supporting Windows systems, typical applications, and hardware setups.


The IT Support Specialist I will assist with handling service requests, troubleshooting fundamental issues, and supporting IT team operations across departments.


This position is on-site at our primary facility in Pryor, OK, and requires residence within the Tulsa metropolitan area with dependable transportation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user support requests related to desktop hardware, printers, and fundamental software issues.
  • Perform setup and maintenance of Windows 11 workstations and related devices.
  • Assist in installing and updating standard applications and performing password resets.
  • Log and document all support activities and escalate complex issues to higher-level support staff.
  • Support inventory tasks, including equipment check-in/check-out and labeling.
  • Provide basic support for A/V systems and conferencing tools under supervision.
  • Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor in all interactions with end-users.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of IT support experience in a business or academic setting.
  • Basic understanding of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and desktop hardware.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and ticketing systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. and work in an office or manufacturing setting.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • High School Diploma required; relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA ITF+, A+) preferred.
