Description

 Role Summary: The Processing Equipment Operator at 101 plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the production facility. The primary responsibility is to operate forklifts and other material handling to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials safely and efficiently. Materials should be transported to designated locations, maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to all safety protocols. This position requires collaboration with other team members to support overall goals and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and maintain the Company’s vision, mission, and core values.
  • Follow all Company policies, processes, and procedures in accordance with Department Manuals, Employee Manuals, and Safety      Manuals.
  • Assist as a primary source for the day-to-day needs of 101 Plant Processing, including: Crushing, Baling, Cleaning, De-Packaging      Finished Goods, Recycling, and more.
  • Obtain 101 Fork Truck Certification.
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production facility.
  • Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to prevent damage, optimize space, and maintain organization of goods      according to Company processes.
  • Clear production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets.
  • Learn and become efficient on various types of Company equipment and operating machinery.
  • Assist in inventory counts and management by moving stock as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Watch out for foot traffic and don all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and troubleshoot or report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records of all material movements and forklift operations. Enter load data into designated Company software.
  • “Feed” processing crews to keep them busy and get off the fork truck and help out with processing as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse/production staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Suggest improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned by team leader/supervisor.
  • Attend all Company meetings and trainings as required.
