Essential job functions

1. Manage Shipping Operations: Oversee daily operations of the shipping department, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.
2. Use Oracle ERP Software to access daily shipping information.
3. Supervise and train shipping staff, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and operational procedures.
4. Coordinate with Carriers: Work with shipping companies, carriers, and freight forwarders to optimize shipping processes and costs. 
5. Maintain accurate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Upload necessary shipping documentation and pictures to Oracle.
6. Monitor Inventory levels and manage the process for incoming and outgoing shipments. 
7. Manage continuous improvement projects in the shipping area. 
8. Develop standard procedures for all shipping processes.
9. Monitor daily production and schedule.
10. Reference engineering drawings. 

11. Communicate to purchasing any material and consumable shortages.

12. Assist sequencing, ship dates, and deliveries of projects to customers. 

13. Coach, mentor, encourage, and maintain a lean culture.
