Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be collaborating with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist’s responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, phone screening candidates, planning interviews and partnering on selection procedures, and hosting/participating in career events. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who can develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires and company leaders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Review applications and phone screen applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
  • Create and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
  • Confer with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
  • Design interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Write creative job advertising and post in various media including LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Schedule interviews for managers and schedule or arranged in-person travel arrangements if needed
  • Extend formal job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Foster relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Assist, organize, or lead in job fairs activities, recruitment events and information sessions
  • Develop recruiting materials for local job and college career fairs
  • Continuous partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and the AR Operations team to design, refine and implement innovative recruiting strategies
  • Interact with candidates and hiring managers to ensure successful on-boarding experience
  • Maintain information in UKG, applicant-tracking system
  • Ensure all Associate Resources files and reports are completed, maintained, and preserved in accordance with established company policies and state and federal regulations
  • Coordinate and maintain the Associate Referral Program
  • Must be willing to travel as needed for business required events (up 5%)
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sales or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in customer-facing role, influencing buying decisions or in recruiting
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems - UKG preferred
  • Effective time management skills must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to change course quickly
